George first experienced the bright lights with a stint on the TV show Romper Room. After playing Dr. Doolittle in elementary school, he took a stab at piano and trombone before spending two years touring Florida and the Bahamas with The Florida Singing Sons Boychoir. In high school he rediscovered the stage, including roles as Sammy Fong in Flower Drum Song and The Invisible Man in The Invisible Man on his way to a BS in CIS/Business Administration from Troy State University, where he played Corporal Morales in the opera Carmen, meeting his wife Tiffany.
George held a myriad of jobs during his impressionable years, from which he has pulled a variety of life experience, including selling 32 flavors of popcorn, working in pet stores, delivering pizzas, steakhouse cook, managing a hair salon (to teach retail), and being a human guinea pig for suntan lotions and antibiotics, among others. After college, he found his first job related to his college major and did a few community theatre shows, but took a 10 year acting hiatus when he opened his first of three Subway restaurants and had two children: Bree & Connor. As a grad student he landed one of his favorite roles, Clarence Hopkins in Cheatin'.
When George sold the stores, he returned to his computer roots, relocating to seven states around the country and absorbing a wide variety of cultures before settling in South Carolina where he found the stage anew, beginning with Zoltan Karpathy in My Fair Lady, Vicar Lionel Toop in See How They Run, Patrick Simmons in A Murder is Announced, and Bronco Ranchwear in Last Chance High, where he was cast after being heard singing karaoke.
George does some film work, including a few films for ETV, and has sung and played guitar with two bands. He has a side business building web sites.
